Ultra Magnus was the original chosen successor to take over the matrix of leadership following Optimus Prime's death.  The physical similarities are apparent, but Ultra Magnus never quite captures that Optimus Prime magic.  Still, this highly desirable rubber tire variant is very popular amongst collectors.  This example exhibits no colorbreak whatsoever along the edges and the factory tape is present and remains firmly intact on each end.  The reverse is clean and is free of the typical G1 flap crease, however a horizontal vein is present and runs across roughly half of the reverse.  In our opinion, this does not detract from the presentation as the “invisible vein” can only be seen under direct lighting.  Bright, crisp, with vibrant red, white, and blue colors, this is a very attractive high-grade example of Series Three mainstay, Ultra Magnus.
