In 1978, figures for the Italian market were made by Harbert and they released their own set of 12 backs with bubble layout and art very similar to their Kenner counterparts, yet the Harbert logo is prominently displayed on the front and back of these cardback designs. Some of the characters were translated for words that weren't native to Italian, but R2-D2 oddly translated to C1P8 (nowhere near a true to form translation). Why his particular translation was done, we may never know, but it is a great conversation starter!

Beautiful card front and back with only two minor veins of approximately 1 inch on the cardback at midpoint near the left edge.  Crystal clear bubble displays beautiful figure within.  Minor ding at top of bubble along edge at midpoint.  Overall, a great specimen well deserving of its overall assigned grade. Encapsulated by AFA (80, 80-75-85), #10140328
