In 1985 Mattel refreshed its He-Man and Skeletor release.  These large-carded figures included new accessories and were marketed as a “deluxe” sets.  Here we have an unpunched example.  No creases or veins on the card front, only minor edge wear and light blemishes at the bottom corners.  The color looks great and the gold foil is particularly appealing.  The back of the card has some spotting and minor veins but is otherwise clean, especially for such a large card.  The bubble appears stronger than its subgrade – the dent is near his shin which is very difficult to see and took us some time to locate.  He-Man collectors will migrate to this piece as it’s a must-have along with the matching Skeletor.
