Gorgeous high-grade R2 from Kenner’s Droids line in 1985.  The unpunched card is immaculate front and back.  Both sides are completely free from creases, veins, edgewear, and price tag sticker residue.  The only possible blemish we found was a bit of vertical surface wear on the reverse alongside the right edge – we consider this to be extremely minor and, in our opinion, the card is deserving of an 85 subgrade.  Bubble and figure look amazing.  One of the very best Droids pieces we have handled – superb!  Collectors will likely look to pair it with the C-3PO featured in the next lot.   Encapsulated by AFA (85y, 80-85-85), #16495307
