The debate continues over which is rarer: the telescoping Darth or the telescoping Ben. Either way, both are among the hardest to find when it comes to “loose” Star Wars figures. Now, while it’s easy to make the mistake because the lightsabers look similar, there are key differences. Regular lightsabers have a thick saber with a fixed, thin tip sticking out about 1 cm. In contrast, the telescoping ones also have this thick outer saber and short tip, but the thin tip can slide into the outer filament. The way CAS presents these, it is very clear to see the distinction.
From what we know, besides Luke, these were exclusively available on cards. The saber mechanism is identical to the telescoping Luke's, but it's blue or red instead of yellow. These figures were limited to the initial release of the 12-backs.
A unique opportunity to grab all three of the iconic Double Telescoping figures in one fell swoop.
