One of the most elusive variants in all of MOTU is the mysterious “Blue Beard” Stratos.  This early production Stratos is extremely rare, and like the “Wonder Bread” He-Man, the hobby is littered with counterfeits.  Authenticated and graded examples are very expensive and are typically only found in the most advanced MOTU collections.  The blue beard is the first version of Stratos to be released at retail.  Likely a factory error, it was quickly replaced by the ubiquitous gray beard version.  It’s interesting to note that Mark Taylor’s original color scheme of Stratos included the blue beard.  This is the very first “Blue Beard” example we have offered.  It comes complete with red wings and blue jetpack.  Also included is the “Free” He-Man and the Power Sword mini-comic.  Our example has been thoroughly vetted and authenticated by CAS and graded a strong “80”.  We expected high-end MOTU collectors will be eyeing both the “Blue Beard” Stratos and the “Wonder Bread” He-Man in hopes of a blockbuster pairing.  Graded 2023.  Encapsulated by CAS (80), #10211488
