The most popular character in the ARAH toyline, Snake Eyes.  This is the early release straight-arm “Commando” version of the Snake Eyes action figure on a beautiful 11-back card.  The card is gorgeous front and back with only two blemishes noted, both being very minor, and in our opinion, not nearly enough to take it down to an 80 subgrade.  On the front of the card there appears to be a vertical wrinkle directly above the hangtab and on the bottom edge below the Hasbro logo there is a small blemish that is visible in the accompanying photographs – that’s all!  The card exhibits outstanding color and, remarkably, is completely free of creases and veins that plague so many of these cards.  The bubble is crystal clear and showcases an immaculate original Snake Eyes action figure within.  The figure stands perfectly upright with a secure waist, but the legs did demonstrate some movement when tested.  Overall, an outstanding piece that presents exceptionally well.  This one compares very favorably with higher graded examples we have handled, and we suspect interested collectors will be giving it a very close look.  Snake Eyes is an iconic piece, one that represents the entire ARAH toyline, and he undoubtedly deserves a place in any high-end 1980’s collection.  Encapsulated by AFA (80+, 80-85-90), #12003736
