Dating back to 1978, and following Kenner’s first mail-away redemption (Lot #20), Star Wars action figures began hitting retail shelves.  The first twelve, now known as 12 Back-A, were an instant sensation and were followed by two subsequent releases known as 12 Back-B and 12 Back-C.  LCG Auctions is proud to present an exclusive offering of the complete run of all twelve of the first-release, 12 Back-A, Star Wars action figures from Kenner.  Historically significant, these twelve action figures are credited with helping launch the most iconic toy line of all-time.

 Here we have a first-release 1978 Sand People.  This 12 Back-A is on a nice card without creasing, veining, or sticker residue.  There appears to be a bit of dried glue along one side of the bubble.  Clear bubble, clean reverse, and nice figure make up this attractive specimen.  A must-have for those looking to complete their first release run of 12 Back-A.  Encapsulated by CAS (80+, 85-85-80), #10155280
