Inclusive of subgrades, AFA 85-90-90 is the highest grade ever assigned to this piece. This is one of only three examples to achieve AFA 85 in AFA’s 24 year history.
Extremely attractive ultra high-grade example of one of the most elusive and coveted G1 Transformers from the 1980’s: Divebomb. This stunning MISB (mint in sealed box) example boasts vibrant colors, clear inner bubble, and a high-gloss box appearing factory fresh. Box imperfections include an impression resulting from price tag sticker removal in the upper corner, remnants of clear glue on the bottom panel as well is in the lower portion of the side panel with the AFA label, and a faint flap crease on the reverse. Despite these minor imperfections, the box presents very well and is certainly deserving of its impressive “85” subgrade. Factory tape is present and remains firmly intact on each end with no sign of give. Aesthetics are ideal combining the Yellow Poster Offer located in the lower corner to the matching the “Predaking!” yellow burst above – pure eye candy! The window is crystal clear and the bubble securing Divebomb is also clear. A most extraordinary and magnificent example, the highest graded Divebomb with poster box in existence, one that will soon find a home in a very advanced world-class G1 collection. Made in Japan. Encapsulated by AFA (85, 85-90-90), #18219222
