According to the AFA population data, AFA 90 is the highest grade ever assigned to a Toy Center shelf talker (pop 4).
Of all of the shelf talkers released for store displays, the Star Wars shelf talkers are the most difficult to find. Later in the releases they moved to a hard plastic material for the talkers, but the "Star Wars" talkers were made of a rigid cardboard, and thus not many survived in excellent condition. The "Toy Center" variant was the second released shelf talker for Star Wars and was first seen in the 1978 Toy Fair Catalog. It was likely shipped with the Toy Center header releases the same year. This example is one of four graded "90" by AFA. None are graded higher. An iconic piece of Star Wars toy history. Approx. 21 x 1.5 x 6 inches. Encapsulated by AFA (90), #11906668
