Factory case fresh Mumm-Ra action figure. This one comes from a “case find” in which the factory sealed case was sent to AFA. AFA opened the case and graded each piece, hence the coveted “uncirculated” assigned grade. Mumm-Ra was one of the most popular characters from the Thundercats cartoon and LJN opted to release him in mail-in redemption format. Six proofs of purchase plus postage could be redeemed for this Mumm-Ra action figure. This one presents flawlessly and scored an unsupassed AFA 90, complete with desirable “U” designation. Typically, the sealed bags exhibit cloudiness and wrinkles but this one is crystal clear. Thundercats are widely considered one of the most beautiful lines from the 1980’s and this figure is certainly evidence of quality of the toyline.
