POP 1 - This is sole AFA 80+ example w/ Fridge Offer found in AFA’s population report, none equivalent and only one example is graded higher (AFA 85). There are a total of only 18 AFA graded examples inclusive of all grades.

The G.I. Joe Tomahawk was first released as part of Series 5 in 1986. We have sold the Tomahawk in previous auctions but have never offered the “Fridge Offer” variant. Our MISB example is the second highest graded of the variant with 18 total graded examples. It’s a beautiful piece with few flaws. The main culprit is an imprint on the front that runs through the E in the GI JOE logo in the top corner. Otherwise, every panel is strong. No color fade on front with the all-important Fridge Offer in the bottom corner. Factory tape sealed at each end. Light toning due to age.
