Rare First-Generation FACTORY SEALED iPad released in Europe on May 28th, 2010.
This only the second time we have offered a First-Generation iPad in our auctions.
Offered here is a very rare factory sealed first-generation Apple iPad. It hit shelves across Europe in May 2010. First Gen iPads were offered with 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB, and with or without 3G capability. Models ranged in price from $499 to $829. Our example is the “Rolls Royce Edition” 64GB model with 3G.
“iPad is our most advanced technology in a magical and revolutionary device at an unbelievable price,” said Steve Jobs, Apple’s then CEO. “iPad creates and defines an entirely new category of devices that will connect users with their apps and content in a much more intimate, intuitive and fun way than ever before.”
Our offering is factory sealed and all-original. There are various light imperfections in the form of storage wear as seen in the photos provided. Well-presenting front panel. The factory seal has a few light scratches that are only visible under ideal lighting conditions. There is a small tear in the seal on the reverse at the bottom center as well as a pinpoint tear under the Mail icon on front. Still, an exceptional example of a very scarce piece. This is only the second time we have offered a factory sealed First Gen iPad in our auctions.
