Proofs are a very early print of a cardback used in the preproduction process for design or layout approvals. They are sought after by collectors because of their low population and because they can give insight into the decisions that were made from the design process all the way to production. Proofs were printed with multiple figures on a large sheet and then individually cut out.  Sometimes proofs are found that have not been die-cut from the sheet and have much of the white bordering around them. These are called hand-cut proofs.

Our offering is a very rare Series 2 / 20-Back hand-cut back proof of Tripwire in an 80+ grade. The 20-Back cards showcase some of the most iconic characters in the ARAH toyline including: Cobra Commander, Destro, Snake Eyes, and Scarlett. The Tripwire file card is pictured below.
