Ultra high-grade Scare Glow from Series 6 released in 1987. Scare Glow is one of the most coveted (and valuable!) carded releases in the MOTU line. This is the first time we have offered an AFA 85 example. Equipped with “triple 85” subgrades, our offering is quite impressive. In fact, inclusive of subgrades, it is the highest graded first-release example ever offered at auction. Splendid card on front with great color and virtually free of imperfections. All-important “NEW” burst in the upper corner denotes first-release. No price tag sticker or residue/imprint. The reverse is free of wrinkles, creases, and veins with only light toning. Clear bubble is firmly attached to the card and retains perfect form. Price tag sticker is located out of sight at the base of the bubble. Scare Glow figure looks great within. Plastic bag that surrounds his legs is clear without any yellowing. Showstopper of an example, none graded higher. Stated simply, it’s the best first-release Scare Glow ever offered at auction.
