POP 3 - This is one of only three AFA 85 examples found in AFA’s population report. None are graded higher.

Ultra high-grade Chewbacca released as part of Takara’s Kenner 7-Inch Series in 1978. Rarely seen, especially in high-grade. Our “triple 85” is a beauty. Large-carded piece. No price tag sticker or sticker residue/imprint. There is a very light wrinkle in the upper left corner. The reverse is clean with the only culprits being veins located in the upper right corner and lower left corner. Card showcases outstanding color. No edge wear. Bubble is crystal clear with no cracks or denting. A few light spots are present. Chewy figure looks great within. Please note, there appears to be a small spot of discoloration at the top of his foot – very minor. Overall, a great looking piece that seldom surfaces. Triple 85 investment grade from 1978.
