Lili Ledy was a Mexican toy manufacturer that held the license to produce Star Wars and other popular lines for the Latin American market during the late 1970s and early 1980s. While based on Kenner’s original designs, Lili Ledy figures were manufactured entirely in Mexico and are celebrated for their distinctive variations — including unique paint applications, plastic colors, accessories, and subtle sculpting differences.
Due to regional production differences, limited distribution, and Mexico’s challenging storage climate, authentic vintage Lili Ledy figures are considerably scarcer than their U.S. counterparts. Many examples display small factory or material traits exclusive to the line, making them highly desirable to both Star Wars and prototype collectors.
These figures capture the charm of Kenner’s originals while offering localized character and rarity that set Lili Ledy apart as one of the most fascinating international Star Wars licensees.
