Short-Fuze is one of the original nine figures released in 1982, the inaugural year of Kenner’s wildly popular ARAH toy line. Our straight-arm example comes unpunched on 11-Back card and is the best AFA 80 example you can hope to find. Color of the card is superb with very few perceptible imperfections. Card showcases perfect centering with no creases or wrinkles on front or back. Only a few light blemishes were identified upon careful inspection, and they include a rectangular outline indention located around the image of Short-Fuze’s face on front, and a very light stain on the front/back of the bottom corner – both are virtually imperceptible without ideal lighting and careful examination. Bubbles look great with no cracks or dents, but have lightly tinted over time. The AFA 80 subgrade is the result of a depression on the top panel of the weapon bubble and on the top panel of the figure bubble. Figure stands perfectly upright with no movement whatsoever in the legs or waist when tested. Overall, a fantastic example at the AFA 80 grade level. Collectors looking to complete a set of the original 9 figures released will not be disappointed! Encapsulated by AFA 80 (80-80-85), #11969427
