Highest Graded copy known to exist.

 First print factory sealed "hobby fresh" copy of Sonic the Hedgehog for the Sega Mega Drive.  This is the wildly popular European version that was released alongside the North American version on June 23, 1991.  Many European collectors will remember this one fondly as Sonic the Hedgehog was well ahead of its time with breakneck game speed, great audio, and classic characters.  The box art on this one is tremendous.  Sonic the Hedgehog is one of the most desirable titles in all of collecting.  A 9.4/A copy of the Sega Genesis version was sold for $420,000 in September of last year.  We expect bids to come in furiously down the stretch as high-end collectors will seek to add this “investment grade” blue chip to their portfolios.
