The Argentinian licensee, Top Toys, released a limited run of only seven Star Wars action figures under the title "EL REGRESO DEL JEDI," the Spanish for "RETURN OF THE JEDI".  One of the interesting things about this licensee is that they chose to create their own molds for the figures instead of using hardcopies / wax sculpts from Kenner. They instead chose to use production figures to create their molds, which resulted in lower quality figures as they lost a good bit of detail in the sculpt. The cardbacks were very similar to the Kenner release on the front with the simple addition of the Top Toys logo at the top corners, but the backs were quite unique. They sported the classic 12 back art at the top yet with a large portion of the back in gold instead of black and a small selection of 5 figures at the bottom. It is often difficult to find mint on card examples as the bubbles were very weak due to poor construction.

 Outstanding example all-around.  Excellent cardback with clear bubble that retains its shape.  Small blemish at the top right corner of bubble.  Light vein approximately 1 inch on reverse near hangtab.  Light shelf wear on the front and bottom of the acrylic case but does not affect the piece itself.  Rare opportunity to grab a stellar Top Toys Darth Vader.  Encapsulated by AFA (80, 85-80-90), #1196954
