Presented is a less expensive alternative to our Platinum Lot: Castle Grayskull.  Here we have a very nice professionally graded Series One Grayskull 12-Back with lots of display value.  This piece is factory sealed on one end but has been opened on the other end.  Curiosity got the better of the previous owner, a non-collector, and he couldn’t help but take a peek inside.  Fortunately the inside contents were untouched and remained completely intact.  The folks at AFA took a close look at this one and found everything present and brand new before qualifying the piece for authentication.  Inner contents have been 100% verified by AFA and include: complete sticker sheet(s), complete toy and parts, consumer response card, in-package catalog(s), and instruction booklet.  It’s important to note that this is one of the very few Q grades ever assigned to a Castle Grayskull.  We have seen many open and incomplete and open complete with used contents but those do not qualify for grading.  Simply put, if you own a professionally graded Castle Grayskull, you’re in a very elite club.  Grading fees alone run $500 for this piece and that’s where we will start the bidding.  Best of luck MOTU Nation!  Approximately 28.5 x 6.5 x 21 inches. Encapsulated by AFA (60q), #11345215
