Often cited as one of the most visually appealing action figures in the entire ARAH run, the first release Series Three Storm Shadow is especially difficult to find in high-grade.  This AFA 85 showstopper is the strongest example we have ever handled.  Our offering sports a virtually flawless cardback – perfect color and registration, no creasing or edgewear.  The only blemish that we were able to find is a very light, almost invisible, vein at the bottom corner on the back of the card.  Simply stated, we feel the card is undergraded and deserving of an 85 subgrade.  The figure and weapon bubbles retains perfect form without dents, fractures, or yellowing.  The figure stands upright, o-ring appears tight, and the legs exhibit only light movement.  The color of the action figure itself is what separates this example from almost all others.  The first release Storm Shadow (32 back with peach file card) is notoriously plagued with a yellowed figure – sometimes on the torso, other times the entire figure.  Our example, incredibly, is free from yellowing.  Overall, an exceptional piece.  The first release Storm Shadow is one of the hobby’s most coveted figures and we certainly don’t expect this one to go quietly into the night.  Encapsulated by AFA (85, 80-85-85), #11137229
