Extremely attractive high-grade MISB example of one of the hobby’s great icons: Optimus Prime.  Optimus Prime is not only appealing to G1 collectors but has wide crossover appeal to nearly every high-end hobbyist that appreciates the beloved decade of the 1980’s.  Rarely do we come across an example as nice as this one – clean and crisp, both front and back, with beautiful bold colors.  This piece exhibits no colorbreak whatsoever along the edges and the factory tape is present and remains firmly intact on each end.  The reverse is flawless and free of the typical G1 flap crease.  This one was likely pulled straight from a factory case and stored for decades to preserve its condition.  Desirable mint condition Pepsi sticker adorns the front.  Those issued with the Pepsi sticker are believed to have been released in a much smaller quantity than those without.  AFA has assigned this one an overall 85 with highly desirable subgrades of straight 85s.  This is an outstanding example in all respects, and one of the most recognizable pieces in the entire hobby.   Encapsulated by AFA (85, 85-85-85), #11907056
