Ultra high-grade example of popular Star Wars character, R2-D2.  On 12 Back-C card from Kenner’s release in 1978, this unpunched offering is fantastic.  The vintage “$1.99” Sears price tag sticker helps take us on a trip down memory lane.  Strong in all three areas: card, bubble, and figure; the elusive “triple 85” is well deserved.  Veteran collectors will attempt to upgrade while ambitious new collectors will look to start at the top.  In any event, both will be after this 12 Back gem.  Encapsulated by AFA (85, 85-85-85), #14690986
