Popular first release/rookie Kobe Bryant Starting Lineup from 1996.  Bryant and several others were part of the Extended Series that was released later in 1996, and he is the “key” in that year’s U.S. release.  It’s clear that AFA is extremely strict when grading SLUs because this one looks absolutely fantastic.  It’s highlighted by a crystal-clear bubble and tray that’s free of dents and dings.  The red, white, and blue card presents beautifully front and back, with perfect color.   The only blemish we could find is a very light vertical wrinkle on the bottom edge of the card beneath the right side of the Bryant sportscard, but outside of that it is completely free of creasing, veining, and edgewear.  The Kobe figure is flawless and shows no yellowing whatsoever.  An awesome piece and a great start to a vintage SLU collection.  Encapsulated by AFA (80+, 80-80-85), #11002289
