Dating back to 1978, and following Kenner’s first mail-away redemption (Lot #20), Star Wars action figures began hitting retail shelves.  The first twelve, now known as 12 Back-A, were an instant sensation and were followed by two subsequent releases known as 12 Back-B and 12 Back-C.  LCG Auctions is proud to present an exclusive offering of the complete run of all twelve of the first-release, 12 Back-A, Star Wars action figures from Kenner.  Historically significant, these twelve action figures are credited with helping launch the most iconic toy line of all-time.

 We are proud to offer an extremely attractive first-release Storm Trooper.  This sharp looking 12 Back-A figure is perfectly white and has not yellowed over time as many examples have.  The card looks great with its only imperfections being two veins in the upper corner that do no go through to the reverse.  There is evidence of a price sticker that was once in the same upper corner but this can only be seen under the glare of direct light.  The bubble is crystal clear with no dents, dings, or cracks and the all-important SKU is present on the figure stand.  A very attractive example sure to be one of our more popular Fall auction lots.  Encapsulated by AFA (80, 80-85-80), #14441838
