Wildly popular release from Series 5 in 1986. This was the era where Hasbro paired the most popular action figures with a vehicle in order to maximize profits. Serpentor debuted on the cartoon in a 5-part series called “Arise, Serpentor, Arise!” replacing Cobra Commander as the most powerful Cobra villain. His action figure release was one of the most highly anticipated and sold out everywhere. Our MISB example looks great, a solid AFA 80 with strong subgrades. Each end is factory tape sealed and there is no color break along the edges. The action figure stands upright within and showed no waist or leg movement when tested. It’s becoming tougher and tougher to find quality examples of this piece, and with the recent spike in ARAHvalues we expect a lot of eyeballs on this lot.
