POP 2 – This is one of two examples in AFA 80. AFA 80 is the highest grade found in AFA’s population report (no others are graded higher). There is a total AFA graded population of only three, across all grades.
Takara Diaclone was the Japanese predecessor to the popular G1 Transformers line. The chronology was well documented in the beloved Transformers episode in Netflix’: The Toys That Made Us. We are proud to present the No. 11 Fair Lady Z Racing Type, red/white/blue in color, the basis for Smokescreen. Our example has been graded by the hobby’s leading grading service, AFA, utilizing their current three tier grading system that includes subgrades: it earned an impressive overall 80 blue label grade with strong subgrades of 80 and above. In their 25-year history, AFA has graded a grand total of three Takara No. 11 Fair Lady Z Racing Type. Our example was consigned to us by one of the premier G1 collectors in the country. A rare opportunity to acquire a piece of Transformers history. Encapsulated by AFA (80q, 80-85-80), #18458249
