Japan’s answer to the popular G1 Jetfire. As the story goes, in the mid-80’s, the Japanese company Takatoku licensed the rights of the Jetfire to Hasbro. After going out of business, Takatoku’s intellectual property, including Jetfire, was purchased by the Bandai company in Japan.
Here we have a “Made in Japan” VF-1S Strikevalkyrie released by Bandai. High quality box with a pebble-like finish. Several imperfections on box as seen in photos including a puncture on the front near the left leg of Strikevalkyrie. Clear window showcases the jet in robot form. Inner contents include everything pictured. Excellent overall condition. A very displayable piece that helps capture the history of the Jetfire fighter jet.
