POP 2 - This is one of only two AFA 85 examples found in AFA’s population report (the other is AFA 85y), there are none graded higher. Total AFA graded population of 4 (I.E. only 4 examples across all grades).

Exceedingly rare example of Firestorm in 33-Back form released in 1986. This is one of just two in AFA 85 condition, and it’s the only AFA 85 example without the “Y” designation on the label. Simply put, our offering is the best AFA graded example in existence. The unpunched card is exquisite, virtually free of blemishes. The only imperfection of note is a light horizontal vein on the reverse that originates on the image of figure 22 and runs right, through “The Nuclear Man” text. Bubble is clear and retains perfect form. Light surface wear on the bubble is likely the reason for the 80 subgrade. The inner tray is very lightly tinted. The mint condition figure within stands perfectly upright and forward facing. Simply outstanding!
