Princess Leia on 12 Back-B card released in 1978. Very nice example showcasing a strong card, bubble, and figure. The card looks great – outstanding color, lays flat, no edgewear or creases front or back. Card imperfections include a faint date “11-23-78” written in pen in the upper corner on the white price square. On back, there is a minor 2-inch vein that originates at the Ben Kenobi image and runs horizontally just past the left arrow. Bubble is clear, firmly attached to card, and retains great form. The bubble could very easily have scored an 85. Our best guess is there is a bit of a depression on the top of the bubble (almost certainly factory) and a very minor nick on the side of the bubble near her right ear. Again, all very minor. The coloring of the Leia figure is generally problematic, but this example is stronger than most. Her vinyl cape is white and free on discoloration and the action figure itself in whiter than is typically seen. Additionally, her blaster is still attached with tape to the side of the bubble. Overall, a strong example with desirable subgrades of 80 and higher.
