Darth Vader on 12 Back-B card released in 1978. Very strong card – virtually flawless except for a 1.5-inch wrinkle that originates above the blue LP circle and runs vertically to Vader’s left bicep. Also, a very minor rabbit ear bottom corner. Outside of those minor imperfections, the card showcases outstanding color, no edgewear, no creasing no veins front and back. Bubble is clear but is a bit wavy at the top. This, and the depression/denting at the stem result in the blister subgrade of 80. The Vader action figure stands upright and is tightly contained within. There is a bit of frosting on the head (this disappears, at least temporarily, with exposure to sunlight). Vintage K-Mart $1.79 price tag sticker rounds out the nostalgia. A solid “triple 80” example that displays like a champ.
