Mer-Man is one of the original 8 figures released in the iconic Masters of the Universe toy line. Our offering debuted in 1983 on 12-Back card. With only two 12-Back examples graded higher (both are AFA 85 examples), and with quality MOTU inventory completely dried up, this is certainly one to watch. Card exhibits various imperfections on front and back, but most are found out-of-sight on the reverse. The bubble retains perfect form. Although graded clear, the bubble has yellowed and would be assigned a “Y” designation if re-graded today. The action figure within looks great.

Mer-Man is one of the original MOTU figures released as part of Series 1, and not surprisingly, he is on the shortlist of every serious MOTU collector. This lot presents a golden opportunity to add a key piece that rarely surfaces.
