Iconic AFA graded Megatron with TM box (first release) from 1984. One of the most desirable toys in the hobby, Megatron is a piece that is on nearly every collector’s wish-list. With the record-breaking sale in March of $133,435 for the AFA 85 red label, the vast majority have been priced out of the factory sealed variety. Here we have something more in line with collector’s budgets, and it’s a piece that looks amazing on-shelf. Our qualified, blue label example has had all contents verified by AFA as new/unused and complete – all sticker sheets, instructions, etc. are present and brand new sealed in original bags. The box has various blemishes throughout as seen in photos. Window is clear with two stress marks near the lower corner. One inch piece of Sytrofoam is fractured and appears loose above the gun. A pristine example this is not, however it is also one that is AFA verified and presents well on-shelf. Please note there are various surface scratches and shelf wear present on the acrylic casing.
