One of the most popular Transformers in the franchise, and one that every collector would love to add to their collection.  The last two Soundwaves we offered were both record setters in the public marketplace: an AFA 80+ Prerub sold in May of 2021 for $20,188 and an AFA 85+ w/ Rubsign sold in June 2022 for $20,713.  Although the offered example falls short of the others in regard to condition, those looking for something a bit more moderately priced will be thrilled.  With desirable subgrades of 80 and above, this MISB example presents nicely.  Factory tape is tightly sealed on each end and the box displays great color without fading to any panel.  The back exhibits the common flap crease found on most G1 Transformers and the is wear in various spots throughout.  Photos are provided of each panel and we encourage interested parties to examine the piece thoroughly.  Overall, a great display piece, Soundwave is a “must-have” for any serious G1 collector.  Encapsulated by AFA (80, 80-85-85), #11740033
