Only two examples graded higher

 We are pleased to offer one of the highest graded early release 8-back Skeletor action figures in existence.  According to the latest population data published on the AFA website in early 2022, there are only 10 early release clear bubble Skeletors across all grades, and only two are graded higher than our offering.  Extremely difficult to find with clear bubble (most have yellowed), our example is as good as you will ever see in that regard.  The bubble is simply spectacular – crystal clear!  No bubble lift, and the card itself is almost equally impressive.  The reverse is bright white and virtually flawless.  The only thing keeping this one from an 85 is very light wear near the bottom of the card, wear that is not noticeable unless examined thoroughly.  The Skeletor action figure itself displays great, perfectly upright with staff tucked firmly to his side.  Unlike the later 12-back release, the 8-back Skeletor action figure features boots that are only painted halfway around his ankles and feet.  Additionally, our offering is ideally paired with the The Vengeance of Skeletor comic.  Simply awesome!  One of the most popular pop culture villains of the 1980’s, we expect MOTU collectors and crossover collectors alike to come to play when this one hits the auction block.  G2, Made in Taiwan.  Encapsulated by AFA (80+, 80-85-85), #1811219
