This item is “hobby fresh” and part of a single-owner collection made available for the very first time. In the late 1970’s, our consignor was a manager at a West Coast department store chain called Fedco. With Star Wars mania already underway, he secured a handful of action figures from the back of the store before they hit shelves (and before they were punched and price tagged). He had the foresight to keep the collection stored away and sealed in their original packages for almost 45 years. The result is a fantastic, fresh-to-market collection, most with amazing color – all unpunched and without stickers!

Unpunched C-3PO on 20 Back-A card from 1978. Strong front of card with only minor imperfections.  Outstanding color and free from creases, veins, and edgewear. No price tag sticker. Imperfections on the reverse include a bit of wrinkling/veining, most prominently seen through the Death Star Droid and Greedo images. Bubble is clear with only minor surface wear on the front. There is a small area of lifting at the top of the bubble, however, it retains factory form throughout. C-3PO action figure is a brilliant gold standing perfectly upright.
