Highly desirable “SKU Footer” variant. The SKU 12 Back-A are generally considered to be the very first releases of Star Wars carded action figures from Kenner in 1978.

Our unpunched 12 Back-A example is very clean exhibiting few flaws. There is evidence of a price tag sticker in the top corner next to Luke’s sword. Although there is evidence of a small paper loss there is no price tag sticker residue as one would expect. The reverse is flawless sans a very light horizontal vein through the Land Speeder. Bubble is clear and retains perfect form. R2 is a timeless classic, and as such, we expect collectors to pay special attention to his first-release SKU footer when it hits the auction block. Encapsulated by AFA (80, 80-85-80), #15169024
