One of the most in-demand vintage toys in the entire hobby.  We are pleased to present a very rare unopened example of the incomparable: Megatron.  This 1984 original was part of a “attic find” in California 18 months ago.  According to the seller, his grandparents would buy extras for the kids on Christmas and some of the extras weren’t needed so they got stored away.  The three Transformers in the find included two Perceptors and this Megatron, all unopened.  Less valuable items from other mid-1980s toylines were part of the find as well.  Our example showcases outstanding display value complete with a vintage Service Merchandise price tag adorning the top corner.  The front, back, and sides are all very clean with bright, vivid color.  Factory tape sealed on the left, the tape has separated on the right but remains present.  The piece has never been opened, confirmed by the complete absence of colorbreak/creasing along both the left and right edge.  The ever common flap crease is present on the reverse.  Overall, a wonderful example that would be a centerpiece in many collections.  This is the first time we have offered a Megatron to our collectors and we expect many eyeballs from both Transformers and crossover collectors alike.  Includes custom sliding bottom AFA Acrylic Display Case.
