Presented is one of the most highly sought-after action figures in the hobby, one that needs no introduction: the 1978 Star Wars “Vinyl Cape” Jawa PALITOY on 12-back card. We are incredibly thrilled to be the first auction house to bring a genuine AFA graded example to market. 

It’s well-known that the Vinyl Cape Jawa is one of the most valuable Star Wars action figures in the hobby. High-grade Kenner examples typically sell in the $35,000-$40,000 range, with the most recent sale realizing $36,603 in March of this year. Our offered example is considered the “holy grail” of VCJ releases – on coveted PALITOY card. Until 2012 or so, the VCJ Palitoy was a mystery.
